BlackBerry Z10 Twin Dual WHITE WAVE Desktop Charger

 Having purchased a desktop stand for all my previous BlackBerry handsets I was a bit disappointed, as I am sure any of you were also,  that BlackBerry hadn’t produced one for the Z10 on its release.

 I jumped to attention when I discovered that a company called Sunny Savers on Amazon were selling the BlackBerry Z10 Dual Charger Stand.  Ordering one straight away at the bargain price of  £14.95. 

The Delivery Date was April, which was a month of waiting,  but it arrived yesterday, 17^th April, and I have to admit it waswell worth the wait.

 It is not OEM, but certainly has a high standard of quality and build.  It holds the phone at the right angle to sit beside the bed, or even on a table as a clock or to watch a film,  Although the stand hasn’t got a Micro HDMI socket it does have the Micro USB for charging or even syncing to your PC. 

The phone is held firmly, but is still easy to remove from the stand with one hand when required.   I would highly recommend this item as an alternative to the OEM pod if and when it is released. 

Unfortunately I have tried to purchase a 2^nd one myself and I know this one is out of stock for a month.

BlackBerry Messenger v7.0.1.23

Another good day for BlackBerry OS device users. BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) has received an update to version 7.0.1.23 and it brings BBM Voice to OS5 users. That may well be an old OS now, but I still see so many people around London talking and texting on their BlackBerry Curve 8520′s.
 
Also BlackBerry ID has now been integrated to ensure a simple transition when switching from one BlackBerry to another. Just remember that if you are going to be using BBM Voice for the first time make sure you either have a data plan with a reasonable allowance or be on WiFi. Could be expensive otherwise.

If you currently have the beta release you may be required to remove this first to allow BlackBerry World to detect the new version.

Certainly not being forgotten is the older pre-BB 10 handsets.  Today we have an updated version of the Foursquare app version 5.5.9 is now available from the BlackBerry World on your phone.

Full of small fixes and performance increases it worth installing the latest version now.

BlackBerry 10 – One day to go

Well readers, its the 29th January 2013,   which mean we have just over 1 day left before the release of Blackberry 10.   With the Z10 touch looking like its definitely going to be available and speculation as to whether the x10 Keyboard is going to make an appearance on the same day or not making the excitement for all us BlackBerry fans unbearable!!!

So will you be 1st in the queue to get a new handset?   I know I will.  assuming EE in the uk have enough stock of them.
