RIM updates Desktop Manager for PC and Mac to Support Playbook 4G

BlackBerry Desktop Software v7.0 Bundle 60 Now Available

If you haven’t already skipped past the 7.0 builds for the 7.1 beta, you can now grab the latest BlackBerry Desktop Software from the BlackBerry download site. This version bumps BlackBerry Desktop Software into v7.0.0.59 (Bundle 60) specifically. If you’re looking for the full list of changes, you can check out this link from CrackBerry. The update isn’t showing inside already existing installs of BlackBerry Desktop Software but it should come along shortly if you’re not wanting to download it directly.

BlackBerry Desktop Manager v7.1.0.24 BETA Now Available for Download

The latest version of the BlackBerry Desktop Software has just hit the beta zone. This time it rings in at version 7.1 and is ready for the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha as well as 4G PlayBook .

Updates include:

• Media sync enhancements including individual selection, sync by album, and customizable columns in collections mode
• Support for 4G PlayBooks
• Support for new BlackBerry 7 OS devices
• Major bug fixes and PIM sync improvements as highlighted in the Release Notes (in downloads section)
• Support for BB10 Alpha Developer devices
• Looks like only some minor tweaks and fixes aside from there, but if you’re a Beta Zone member you can grab the update anyway.
