Twitter for BlackBerry v3.1.0.20 Now Available for Download

 Twitter for BlackBerry has now moved beyond the BlackBerry Beta Zone Gold Release and v3.1.0.20 has been released into BlackBerry App World. Some of the changes and fixes do carry over from the previous version as noted below:

• Updated Twitter Bird
• Undo Retweet
• New tweet details screen
• Sharing Tweets over email fails to keep links shortened
• Reply Hotkey not working and menu item missing on the Tweet Details screen if the Tweet is Retweeted by you
• When replying to a Tweet with a location, location call out pops up over top of the text in the Tweet
• Main account was deleted/logged out from app after experiencing network issues
• Spell check dialog appears as well as the suggested usernames in Sign Up screen

You can grab it now from BlackBerry App World or direct from the BlackBerry mobile site. If you’re not seeing it as of yet, refresh app world or just wait a little bit longer as it’s still filtering through the system. If you cant see it try using alt+rst to reset your app world cache.

Twitter for BlackBerry has updated to version 3.1.0.11 in the BlackBerry Beta Zone.

Please see below for a list of fixed issues in Twitter for BlackBerry smartphones version 3.1.0.11:

• Cannot press ‘L’ to reply to all in Tweet details screen
• “Sorry you are not authorized to see this status” error popup on Tweet details screen
• Seeing duplicate Replies in Tweet details page
• View Pictures are not full sized and cropped off in new Tweet details
• Undo Retweet fails
• Right to Left – Scrolling in timeline jumps over links, @mentions and #hashtags to Retweeted by user link.

Twitter for Blackberry updated to v3.1.0.8 in BlackBerry Beta Zone

For those who are new to Beta Zone we look forward to hearing your thoughts and comments on this application upgrade. Check out what’s been added to the latest Twitter for BlackBerry smartphones client!

• Updated Tweet Details Screen – Clicking a Tweet now brings you to a content-rich Tweet details screen, designed to give you more information around the Tweet.
• Geotagged Tweets will show mini maps,
• Tweeted photos will appear larger, and Twitter conversations will be easier to follow.
• In addition, you will be able to see who’s Retweeted a Tweet, and by whom it has been Retweeted.
• To see a person’s profile screen, just click the profile picture again.
• Undo Retweet – You can now undo a Retweet that you may have mistakenly Retweeted.  You can undo a Retweet by using familiar actions used to delete a Tweet.  In addition, the new Tweet details screen allows you to select the Retweet button to undo a Retweet.
• Right to Left Language Support
